April 19, 2010 (follow-up from April 1 & 7)

Please pray for Mervin Cheechoo (president of Rising Above Ministries)

Mervin has felt some improvement in his situation last week- less severe symptoms of anxiety and as a result of regular exercise and healthy diet he has lost significant weight. This was a doctor's order. He has been immersing himself in the Word and prayer to combat anxious thoughts that still attack him. He has asked for continued prayer- for physical and emotional strength; that he would think Godly, positive thoughts; and for a healthy heart.

Mervin has a very important speaking role in the upcoming Rising Above Aboriginal Healing Conference in Winnipeg, May 26-30. Let us pray that his condition would improve in the next two weeks such that at his doctor's appointment at the end of this month the doctor would give him clearance to go and he would be strong enough to resume his role. Let us bind the enemy in Jesus name that no attack against Mervin will prosper...
