Please pray for both Raymond McLean (the pastor of the First Nations Family Worship Centre in Winnipeg) and myself as we go to Pikangikum from Tuesday to Thursday of this week.
There have now been five suicides in Pikangikum during the last five weeks, and this is in a community of 2,300 people. The problems are so great that there is a sense of hopelessness and despair, and it seems like many are looking to the bigness of the problem more than to the bigness of our God!
We need a miracle here, as only God is able to do something at the point of our helplessness and inadequacy in ourselves. His grace is sufficient, however.
