Many you are familiar with the ministry of Rising Above and have partnered in prayer for the upcoming Aboriginal Family Healing Conference. I just received this call for prayer from Terry Martin (Rising Above Executive Director)
Received a distressing call from Mervin Cheechoo, president of RA (Rising Above). He is experiencing panic attacks. Just started a few days ago. He can't sleep at night either which compounds the problem. He has been ordered by the doctors to take the month off to relax and exercise and control his diet. He has diabetes. Lots of stuff going on here- physiological, stress, grief. I also believe there is a spiritual attack on him as he is a very influential man in Native circles across Canada. Would you send out an urgent prayer request to our conference intercessors and others to intercede for Mervin.
